Fukuoka Prefecture Establishes - Fukuoka Semiconductor Reskilling Center

Fukuoka Prefecture has launched a specialized training center for semiconductor technology called the "Fukuoka Semiconductor Reskilling Center." It's the first time a local government has established a training center focused solely on the semiconductor sector. Professor Tadahiro Kuroda of the University of Tokyo has been appointed as the center's director. The center offers courses on advanced semiconductor design and pre and post-manufacturing processes, as well as basic technologies for integration into automobiles. In addition to in-person classes, the center also offers online and e-learning courses, accessible nationwide. Course fees range from several thousand to about 30,000 yen, and small to medium-sized businesses in the prefecture can attend for free.
