Team Fukuoka, a public-private organization that aims to transform Fukuoka into an international finance hub, has announced the entry of two new companies to the city: M-DAQ, a fintech company from Singapore, and E. Sun Commercial Bank from Taiwan. In the two years since Team Fukuoka was established, it has successfully attracted 14 companies to the city. The International Financial City Plan is currently being implemented by the national government with the aim of creating a leading hub in Asia for foreign financial institutions, and Fukuoka City aims to attract even more finance companies going forward.
