The Bank of Fukuoka and Kumamoto Bank, both under Fukuoka Financial Group, have established dedicated consultation desks to support Taiwanese companies seeking to expand into Kyushu. The move comes as a growing number of Taiwanese companies, particularly in Kumamoto Prefecture, have entered Kyushu following Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC)'s expansion into Kumamoto. The banks will assist companies with opening bank accounts in Japan, provide information, and offer business-matching support. Taiwanese bank employees will serve as the points of contact at both institutions.
