Fukuoka Jisho and its partners will open Fukuoka Innovation Lab Tenjin, an incubation facility specializing in deep tech, at Tenjin Business Center II, a major mixed-use complex in Tenjin, Fukuoka City, on September 1. The facility will have 10 shared offices as well as a coworking space available on weekdays. It will be operated through collaboration among Fukuoka Jisho, Kyushu University OIP, a Kyushu University subsidiary responsible for industry-academia collaboration, and TOPPAN. The facility will specialize in fields including artificial intelligence and semiconductors. Support will include introductions to entrepreneurs and other talent, community building among tenant companies, and assistance with commercialization. Fukuoka Jisho opened "F Lab Kyudai Hospital," an incubation facility specializing in life sciences, in January. The new Tenjin facility will bring its number of incubation locations to two.
