Mayor Takeuchi commented, "By leveraging Physical AI to address pressing challenges, including severe labor shortages and the fact that Kitakyushu has the highest aging rate among Japan's ordinance-designated cities, we aim to become Japan's first city to implement this technology and improve residents' quality of life."
