Producing a number of talented people comparable to those in other major Asian countries
Fukuoka Prefecture ranks fifth in Japan in the number of universities with 35 and sixth in the number of undergraduate science programs with over 6,000 students. A range of growth industries and research institutions – from biotechnology and space to hydrogen energy – are also concentrated in the city.
