Considering the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC)'s plans to enter Fukuoka, the prefecture is establishing a base at CIC Tokyo, stationing staff to aggressively promote investment and venture business connections. This fall, Governor Hattori plans to lead a delegation to CIC's Boston headquarters, and further collaboration with innovation communities and matchmaking events with Asian ventures and local companies are scheduled.
